When it came time for Dad to retire, in 2013, I was given the opportunity to take over the business and continue the excellent service my father had offered on the central coast for 13 years.
Even though Dad may be retired, he is still around to offer advice and you may even find he answers the phone occasionally or gives me a hand with an install.
Our approach has been to keep overheads low and prices competitive which is why we may look like a small business; which we are, but our service is very big.
- We do not use commissioned salespeople and high pressure sales tactics.
- The person who quotes your job is the person who will do your job.
- We do not inflate our prices and then offer fake discounts, after all a discount isn't real if you double the price to start with.
Over the years we have seen competitors come and go, we have seen all sorts of different products used and we know what works and what doesn't. We plan to be around for a while and Blockout aren't going away. Getting after-sales service on your shutters will always be easy.
